Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Bhopal Region came into existence in the year 1978. At present there are 61 KVs under the jurisdiction of K V S Bhopal Region located in Madhya Pradesh as well as Maharashtra.

Out this Ten (10) Schools are under Nagpur cluster of Maharashtra and remaining 51 KVs are under MP state.

The Regional Office is headed by Assistant Commissioner assisted by three Education Officers, one Administrative Officer and Audit and Accounts Officer.

1. Quality Teaching with an appropriate teacher – pupil ratio.

2. Highly qualified teaching Faculties.

3. Instruction through Hindi and English with an ultimate objective to enable pupils to achieve proficiency in both the languages.

4. Excellent Infrastructure Facilities with well equipped labs and latest teaching techniques.

5. Same Text books and Syllabus in all Kendriya Vidyalayas

6. Uniformly Split up Syllabus and Examination schedule in KVs - minimizing the loss of studies in case of transfer from one KV to another KV.

7. No tuition fee for girl students and students belonging to SC/ST.
