AP Grama Sachivalayam Jobs Notification 2019

The Andhra Pradesh (AP) Government under the leadership of their Chief Minister Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the Andhra Pradesh Grama Volunteer Recruitment Board (APGVRB) has announced Village Secretariat or Grama Sachivalayam Recruitment 2019. The official notification will be available on the AP government’s official website i.e. “https://www.ap.gov.in/” or “www.aponline.gov.in” and the online application mode is the only way to apply for this Grama Sachivalayam post. This recruitment drive is to fill up 1.60 lakh vacancies across 10 different Village/Grama Secretariat posts namely, VRO, VRA, MPEO-1, Linemen, Gopal Mitra, Forest Watcher, MPEO-2, Field Assistant-2, ANM & Others.

The online application window is expected to open in the month of June, 2019 and is expected to close either in July end of August beginning. So, all candidates who desires to be selected for this Village Secretariat posts must keep an eye on the official website of the AP government to get latest updates on online application form. This initiative by the AP government is to bring transparency and answerability to the people residing in the AP villages.

The final selection and placement of the candidates will be done before 2nd October, 2019. So, everything procedure for selection will be conducted on an urgent basis on a short notice period. The candidates are relieved because they do not have to pay any amount as an application fee because the online application is absolutely free. And, the candidates who would be selected for the Grama Secretariat posts will get a monthly salary ranging between Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per month, depending upon their qualification and post they have been selected for.

Eligibility Criteria:-

All the candidates who wishes to get selected for any of the Grama Secretariat posts must meet all the following eligibility criteria, otherwise their application would be rejected.

a.) Educational Qualification: A candidate must be at least 12th standard or Intermediate pass from a recognised board. And, other additional educational qualification per the posts are as follows-

  1. For Village Revenue Officers (VRO) Post- Must possess any Degree
  2. For Village Revenue Assistants (VRA) Post- Must possess any Degree
  3. For ANM (Health Department) Post- Must possess a Nursing or Medicine or B.Pharm Degree
  4. For Field Assistant (NREGA Purpose)- Must possess any Degree
  5. For MPEO-1 (Data Entry – Agriculture Department) Post- A B.Sc/BSC (B.Z.C.) Degree in Agriculture OR Any Diploma
  6. Course in Agriculture
  7. For MPEO-2 (Field Worker – Agriculture Department) Post- A B.Sc/BSC (B.Z.C.) Degree in Agriculture OR any Diploma Course in Agriculture
  8. Linemen (Electrical Department) Post- IIT in Electrical / B.Tech (EEE) / Diploma in EEE
  9. Gopal Mitra (Veterinary Department) Post- A Veterinary Degree OR any Diploma Course in Veterinary field
  10. Forest Watcher (Forest Department) Post- Must Possess any Degree.

b.) Age Limit and Relaxation: Per the Andhra Pradesh Grama Secretariat norms, the age limits are as follows-
Minimum Age Limit is 18 years
Maximum age limit is 39 years,
As on 1st October, 2019.

Note: Relaxation in age for the reserved categories is per the AP government rules in this regard.

c.) Nationality:
Only those candidates who belong to Andhra Pradesh are allowed to apply online for the Grama Sachivalayam Post.
For vacancies available in Tribal areas and Scheduled areas must be applied by only those who belong to the backward or schedule category.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process for the Village Secretariat Post is divided into 4 rounds. First round will be a written test which will be an objective based online test. Those who secure the cut-off marks in the examination will qualify for the second round which will be a Skill Test or Technical Interview round. The third round is only for Forest Department applicants which will be a Physical Test and the last round will be document verification round comprising of only those candidates who have been finalised for different Grama Sachivalayam Posts.

Exam Date and Pattern:

As of now, the online objective based examination date is not yet decided by the APGVR Board because they have said that once the online application is over then the dates will be announced. But the tentative dates for the online written examination is either August or September, since the recruitment needs to be over before 2nd October. Hence, the admit card details and the result dates will also be announced soon along with the date of examination. So, the candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the APGVR Board for any latest updates in this context.


Syllabus for the online written examination has not yet been fixed by the AP government. They are waiting for the online applications to get over after which they will soon announce the examination dates and the syllabus for the same so that the applicants get sufficient time to prepare for the examination.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Grama Sachivalaya:

The appointed Grama Sachivalaya will operate from his Grama Sachivalaya Office in the village where he will be posted. The villagers now will be able to apply for various services just by visiting the Grama Sachivalaya office where the services will be made available to the villagers within 72 hours of time duration from the time of appeal. If the officer takes more than 72 hours in delivering the service then he has to answer for the cause in delay with accurate reason.
The AP Grama Sachivalayam will handle tasks such as Panchayatraj, drinking water, primary education, hospitals, agriculture, women and children and various other ancillary services required in a village. Ten employees will be posted in each Grama Sachivalayam Office, who will be provided daily with various government related works of that village

Andhra Pradesh Grama Volunteer Recruitment 2019 News

In his oath taking ceremony, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced the recruitment of 4 lakh village volunteer (Grama Volunteer) posts, for which an official announcement has been made by releasing a notification in this regard on their official website “www.ap.gov.in.” The AP Grama Volunteer Recruitment Notification 2019 was released on 7th June 2019 which has all the details regarding the Grama Volunteer post, the online application of which will start on 8th July 2019 and will be an open month long, closing on 31st July 2019.

The online application link has been posted on their official website i.e. “www.ap.gov.in”, and the application form is absolutely free with no application charges. As decided by the AP government, for every 50 houses one volunteer will be selected in every village. And this whole recruitment process needs to be completed before 15th August 2019 so that the candidates who are selected can join their duty from 15th of August. The candidates selected for the Grama Volunteer post will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 5,000. Now, lets go a bit in-depth of this recruitment drive and learn more about it.

Eligibility Criteria:

All the candidates who wish to get selected for this AP Grama Volunteer post must fulfill all the following eligibility criteria; otherwise their application will stand completely rejected.

a.) Educational Qualification– All those who are 10th standard or 12th standard or a graduate pass from a recognized Board or University are eligible for the Village Volunteer post.

b.) Age Limit– The minimum age limit for the Village Volunteer post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 39 years, as on 15th August 2019.

Selection Process:

The candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria will be called for the final selection which is divided into two rounds. The first round will be a written examination and the second round will be an interview session in which only those applicants would qualify who will be able to secure cut-off marks in the written examination.

Exam Date and Pattern:

As of now, the AP government has not yet decided on any particular date to conduct this recruitment examination. But it is expected to be in the first week of August since the selection is to be made before 15th August. But, there are news making the rounds that the selection may be done on the basis of the marks obtained by the applicants in their highest and last educational examination due to non-availability of time. If conducted, the examination will be an objective based online examination which will have multiple choice questions.

Examination Syllabus:

When the examination dates are not fixed how can the government fix the syllabus for the examination. The AP government has said that once the online application process is over, they will decide and announce the examination date and the syllabus for the examination, so that the applicants get some quality time for preparation.

Roles & Responsibilities of The Grama Volunteers:

The applicants who will be selected for the post will monitor the facilities and aid which government supply to these villagers.
They will be empowered to report of any wrongdoing in the villages like corruption, miss-appropriation of the government commodities, etc.
A Grama Volunteer will see proper and timely implementation of all the government schemes so that villages grow properly as per the plans.

UPSC CDS II Recruitment 2019 Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern, Syllabus

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an official notification in respect of Combined Defence Services-II (CDS) Examination for September 2019 session, for which they have posted an online registration link on their official website http://upsconline.nic.in.” The online application window had opened from 12th June 2019, which would close on 8th July 2019 sharp at 06:00 pm. The UPSC every year conducts the CDS examination for recruiting candidates for courses carried out by the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy. The selected candidates after completion of the course are hired for the post of Officer Cadre in Army, Air Force, and Military.

The UPSC has notified a total of 417 vacancies under the upcoming CDS-II examination. All the eligible candidates belonging to General or UR Category who are willing to apply for the CDS-II examination have to pay a sum of Rs. 200 online as an application fee, which the female candidates and those belonging to SC/ST category are not required to pay. Initially, the candidates selected for the Officer Cadre post in the Army, Air Force, and Military will be paid a fixed stipend of Rs. 21,000 per month, which after 6th and 7th pay commission has been increased. For detailed bifurcation of the pay scale per the different posts, please follow the official recruitment notification issued on the UPSC website.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates who fulfill all the below mentioned eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear in the selection rounds and sit in the CDS examination.

i.) Educational Qualification–    

  • a.) For Indian Military Academy (IMA): Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University.    
  • b.) For Indian Naval Academy (INA): Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent from a recognized University.     
  • c.) For Air Force Academy (AFA): Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology OR a Degree with Physics and Mathematics as the major subjects from a recognized University.     
  • d.) For Officers Training Academy (OTA): A Bachelor’s Degree or it’s equivalent from a recognized University.     
  • e.) For Officers Training Academy (Including SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Any Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

ii.) Age Limit

  1. a.) For IMA: 19 years to 24 years.     
  2. b.) For AFA: 19 years to 23 years.     
  3. c.) For INA: 19 years to 22 years.     
  4. d.) For OTA including SSC Women Non-Technical Course: 19 years to 25 years.

iii.) Nationality

  • All the candidates must be Citizens of India.
  • Subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Burma, Sri Lanks and various East Eafrican Countries are also eligible and invited to apply for the post.
  • The candidates are required to produce a certificate issued by the authorities of Government of India, which certifies their Nationality.

iv.) Marital Status

  • Candidates applying for the post in IMA, INA and AFA should be unmarried.
  • All the male candidates applying for the post in OTA are exempted from this restriction.
  • Only unmarried, issueless widows and divorcee women are eligible to apply for the post in OTA SSC Women Non-Technical Course.

v.) Physical Standards

  • All the candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the CDS-II examination, 2019 as mentioned in the guidelines of UPSC.

Exam Date & Pattern:

CDS-II Examination for September 2019 session is scheduled to be held on 8th September 2019. The date is finalized and will not be changed except in an adverse situation.

The CDS-II examination will be an objective paper and pen based examination, which will comprise of multiple choice questions from the prescribed syllabus, each question carrying one mark with negative marking for each wrong answer.

The written test will be of the total of 300 marks consisting of 340 questions for IMA, INA and AFA applicants. The 340 questions are apportioned between 3 subjects which are General Knowledge, English Language and Elementary Mathematics with each subject’s question paper to be completed in 2 hours duration and consisting of 120, 120 and 100 questions respectively. All the subjects carrying 100 marks in total.  

Only the OTA applicants will have two subjects in the examination which are English Language and General Knowledge. Both these subjects will have 120 questions each of 100 marks in total, which is to be completed in 120 minutes for each subject.

Examination Syllabus:

The written examination will have only 3 subjects on which the applicant would be tested. But the chapters/topics covered in the three subjects are as follows:

  1. English Language- The paper will test the candidates on the basis of English Language, Grammar and Vocabulary.
  2. General Knowledge- This paper will test the applicant’s knowledge of current affairs, History, and Geography of India.
  3. Mathematics- The topics included here are Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration, and Statistics.

Admit Card Release Date:

The admit card is supposed to be released at least three weeks prior to the examination on “http://upsc.gov.in”, which will fall in the month of August towards the month end because the examination date is 8th September.

Steps To Download The Admit Card:

  1. Visit the official UPSC website i.e. “www.upsc.gov.in
  2. Search and click on the link named as “Combined Defense Services-II Examination 2019”
  3. Now, enter your Registration Number Password / Date of Birth and click on “SUBMIT” tab
  4. The e-admit card will appear on your screen. Cross verify all the details printed on the screen and then proceed to download the admit card before printing a hard copy of it.

Examination Result Date & Cut-Off Marks:

The written examination can be published on any day in the month of December 2019, which will be released on the UPSC official website. And, the board has also said that the cut-off marks will be fixed by them once the application process is completed successfully.

cgvyapam Assistant Teacher English (E Cadre) Exam Date & Syllabus

CG Vyapam Recruitment 2019 – Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CGPEB), has released job advertisement for the post of Assistant Teacher English (E Cadre) along with various other posts to offer. The number of vacancies available for this post is 306 with pay-scale of Rs. 38,100.

The candidates who wish to apply and fulfills the educational and other eligibility criteria for the post can apply online through its online application form available at “cgvyapam.choice.gov.in,” by paying the stipulated application fee. The starting and the closing date of online application are 07th MAY, 2019 and 09th JUNE, 2019 respectively. Other modes of application are strictly prohibited.

Note: Any higher qualification above Bachelor’s Degree like Postgraduate Degrees such as M.Tech, are also acceptable.

Age Limit:

  1. For Unreserved or General category applicants- The upper age limit is 27 years.
  2. For OBC category applicants- The upper age limit is 27 years.

Selection Procedure

The selection of the eligible applicants will be strictly done on the basis of the Written Examination. There will not be any personal interview rounds or any physical efficiency test. Examination Date

As of now, the written examination date is not yet decided by the board. Chargeman Post Examination Syllabus

The written examination for Chargeman Post will be an online objective, MCQ based examination, which will be of 3 hours duration. The total marks of the examination differ per the educational qualification possessed by the candidate, as segregated in the eligibility criteria above. But, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks of the marks allotted for each wrong answer. The syllabus as per education segregation is as follows:

a.) For Technical Posts:

Railways RRB Integral Coach Factory Recruitment 2019

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) located in Chennai is a production unit under the Ministry of Railways who has announced recruitment for the post of Apprentice for the year 2019. Through an official notification they are inviting online application for the Apprentice post in respect of which a total of 992 vacancies has to be filled. The Apprentice post comprises of different job positions that includes Electrician, Carpenter, Painter, Fitter, Mechanist, Passa and Welder.

The Ministry is inviting applications from eligible freshers and Ex-ITI candidates through online mode only for which an official online application link has been posted on their official website “www.icf.indianrailways.gov.in” from 20th May to 24th June 2019 till 05 pm.

Freshers will be recruited for the training post for a period of 2 years during which they will be paid a stipend of Rs. 5700 p/m for the first year and Rs. 6500 p/m in the second year. The Ex-ITI will be selected for the training for a period of 3 years during which they will be paid Rs. 5700 p/m in the first year, Rs. 6500 p/m in the second year and Rs. 7350 p/m in the third year. All the candidates except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and Women has to pay a processing fee of Rs.100 online for successful submission of the form. Eligibility Criteria:-

I.) Educational Qualification:

a.) Freshers- Should have be at least 10th standard pass or its equivalent with Science and Maths, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
b.) Ex-ITI- Should have passed at least 10th standard or its equivalent with science and Maths, securing a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate; and must also possess a National Trade Certificate in their notified or relevant field issued by the National Council for Vocational Training.

II.) Age Limit:

A candidate must be between 15 years to 24 years of age determined as on 01.10.2019.

Selection Process:-

  1. The candidates will be strictly selected on the basis of their marks obtained by them in 10th standard in case of Freshers and in order of marks obtained in 10th standard and ITI course by Ex-ITI candidates, giving equal weightage.
  2. But, if two candidates’ are marks are found to be equal, then the candidate who is senior is older in age shall be preferred. If, two candidates’ date of birth turns out to be the same then the candidate whose has appeared and passed first in his 10th standard examination shall be preferred.
  3. The candidates who are freshers will not be given the opportunity to select a trade of their choice. Officers in the administration department will allot trade to freshers from available vacancies at the time of registration of contracts based on their order of merit. Once the fresher candidates are selected, any request for change in trade will not be entertained. The Ex-ITI candidates will be allotted the trade in which they have earned their ITI certificate.

Physical Fitness Standards:

A candidate will be deemed to be physically fit if he meets the conditions applicable under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The shortlisted candidates have to produce a Medical Certificate at the time of document verification in the prescribed form, which must be signed by a Government-authorized gazetted doctor who must be of the rank of Asst. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital or above.

The apprenticeship training will commence on any date after 1st October 2019, which is tentative in nature. Original Transfer Certificate for completion of X/XII/ITI examination must be produced by the candidate during verification of certificate procedure. The ICF administration officials will intimate the selected candidates about their selection via an official email or SMS on their registered email i.d. or their mobile number.

RRB Paramedical Results 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is soon going to declare the result of its RRB Paramedical CBT examination 2019, which was conducted in the first week of June 2019. The result will be published online at the zonal websites of the RRBs i.e. “www.indianrailways.gov.in.” The candidates who appeared in the CBT examination can view the results online, which will be in the form of a merit list and scorecard. The merit list would consist of the candidate’s name who is going to qualify each phase. In order to view or download the scorecard, the candidates have to enter their User I.D. and Password to log in.

About RRB Paramedical Merit List 2019:

The RRB Paramedical Merit List 2019 will be available in a PDF format, which will comprise of the candidate’s roll number who have passed the examination by securing the cut-off marks. If in case two or more candidates secure the same marks, then there will be a tie-breaker criterion i.e. the date of birth of the candidates. The candidates who will be eldest will be given preference over the younger ones.

About RRB Paramedical Scorecard 2019:

The candidates are restricted to obtain their respective scorecards only by entering their login credentials i.e.their User I.D. and Password. The scorecard will be released for all those candidates who have appeared for the examination. The scorecard will consist of the following details-

About RRB Paramedical Document Verification Process:

The candidates who would be clearing the CBT examination successfully will be called for document verification round. In this round, the candidates have to carry the necessary documents both in original and two sets of photocopies on the day of the verification. The list of the documents which the candidate needs to carry for the document verification round are stated below-

  1. Class 10th Mark sheet or Matriculation Certificate as a proof for Date of Birth.
  2. Class 12th Certificate.
  3. Diploma Degree Certificate and Mark sheets.
  4. Caste Certificate if applicable.

RRB Junior Engineering Results 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) JE stage I CBT examination was conducted from 22nd May to 2nd June 2019 and now it’s time for the results, which is expected to be declared in the month of August 2019. This examination was conducted for recruiting 13,487 candidates across various posts in Indian Railways, such as Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical Metallurgical Assistant (CMA). Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police 2.5 Lakhs Job Vacancies

For the first time in the history of the Indian Railways recruitment, Indian Railways has decided to allocate 50% of all jobs available under Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) to women. A total of 2.5 lakh job vacancies have been reported to be filled by this recruitment drive. This 50% reservation quota for women is a major step towards women empowerment, which will trigger more participation from them in the Railways, especially for handling law and order in the Railways.

In a reply to a query in Rajya Sabha, the Railways Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal said that the Indian Railways has set a goal to recruit 9000 constables and sub-inspectors in the next one year under Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police, 50% of which would be reserved for women only. This initiative has been taken to increase the number of women constables and officers in the RPF and GRP. Currently, the RPF has only 1769 lady constables. But, this statistic is set to change now, as the Indian Railways has already reserved 4,216 constable posts for women out of 8,619 total constable posts and 301 sub-inspector posts out of 1,120 total sub-inspector posts.

In the past two years, the Railway Ministry has worked successfully on serious issues of women’s safety and has prevented children below the age of 18 years from being misused and misguided. Railway Protection Force comes under the Indian Railways who keeps a check of railway’s infrastructure, trains, station, while Government Railway Police comes under the State Government who is primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining law and order in and around railway stations and within trains.

Along with this, the Railway Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal has also announced 2.5 lakh new job vacancies and overall 4 lakh job vacancies for which the recruitment is underway and which will be completed by 2021. He also stated that the recruitment under the 10% quota for economically weaker sections would also begin soon. He further mentioned that the Indian Railways currently has a vacancy for 1.5 lakh posts, which is expected to be filled soon. And, along with this more 2.5 to 2.5 lakh new jobs will be created under various departments in the near future. He said that last year they had started the recruitment process for 1.51 lakh posts, of which 1.31 lakh posts are still left to be filled. Near about 99,000 posts will be vacant in the coming two years as a result of the retirement of 53,000 employees in 2019 and 46,000 employees in 2020.

The first phase of fresh recruitment process of 1.3 lakh posts had been initiated in the months of February and March 2019, of which 19715, 9857 and 35485 posts had been reserved for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, all as per the reservation policy of the government.

Moreover, the second phase of recruitment of 99,000 personnel against vacancies arising out of retirement has been initiated in the months of May and June 2020, which will be completed by July-August 2021.

Hence, the candidates who aspire to get selected under Railway Protection Force or Government Railway Police must regularly check the official website of the Indian Railways for any updates or notifications in this regard. As mentioned above, the Indian railways will soon start with their online application process and the online recruitment examination for various posts under RPF and GRP. RRB NTPC Results 2019

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will upload its NTPC recruitment examination/test results for the year 2019 stage wise for all the written test levels i.e. 1 & 2 and for Typing/ Skills/ Aptitude Test along with a Final result on its respective regional websites. This means the results of all the examinations of all stages along with a Final result will be uploaded region wise on the respective region’s website by RRB. After proper scrutiny and checking of all the answer scripts of the candidates, RRB will prepare a merit list which it will upload on its various websites in respect of every region. Candidates have to log in to the specific website for which they have applied and check their results.

RRB decides the cut-off marks for an examination after completion of that stage of the NTPC exam, which is formulated on the basis of various factors, such as difficulty level of examination, a total number of candidates appeared in the examination in each category, total vacancies available, etc. After proper analysis of all these parameters, RRB fixes and releases the minimum qualifying marks set community wise and category wise for candidates. RRB NTPC Result 2019 Date:

It is expected that the RRB NTPC results will be uploaded by the Board on every region’s specific websites after few weeks from each stage of the examination. The Board will upload the result, answer keys, cut-off marks for every stage as per the requirements of each stage and at the end will release a final merit list with the names of the candidates who have been selected for the post.

The result for tier 1 written examination is expected to be released by RRB in respect of its every region within a few days after the completion of the examination. In a week’s time, the Board will release the answer key and minimum cut-off score for this stage.

The candidates whose names are mentioned in the Tier 1 merit list will be called to appear for Tier 2 written exams i.e. for the Mains. After successful completion of the Tier 2 examination, the Board will release the answer key, followed by the minimum cut-off marks and then the final result of this stage.

After the announcement of Tier 2 results, as per the requirement of the post candidates who belong to certain listed categories shall be called upon to appear for the typing test/skill test/aptitude test. The results of these respective tests would release within a few days after the completion of the test. Those candidates who will clear these tests will be called for the last round of selection i.e. the document verification process, after which RRB will formulate the final merit list on the basis of the performance of the shortlisted candidates in all the stages and the number of vacancies in each category and post. In case if two candidates secure similar marks, then the candidate who is older in age will be considered first for an appointment.

  1. Visit the region specific official website of RRB for which the candidate has applied for.
  2. On the homepage of the region specific website, search for the link that mentions “CEN 2019” RRB NTPC results 2019 and click on it when found out.
  3.  Now, the candidate lands on the login homepage of the results.
